Stop thinking about it. Buy it

Honestly changed my whole outlook on wine. There was a night and day difference using this vs not. I’m disappointed that it took so long for me to get this lol

    It works!

I got this as a gift for my daughter, who appreciates a nice glass of wine. She said that it does make wine taste better.

    Great Customer Service

I’m updating this review, but leaving the old one for context/info. After seeing my review the Seller/Manufacturer contacted me immediately, through Amazon. They were apologetic and sent a new device right away. I’ve decided NOT to take the new one apart to rinse or clean it as I think that’s where I got in trouble. It works great. Since we don’t often finish an entire bottle we never decant our wines. This aerator is a great alternative. The fantastic Customer Service is top notch. Thank you to Vintorio!OLD REVIEW: I’d love this item, if it didn’t leak. I follow the directions, several times and I still have to pour my wine over the sink because it leaks. It does aerate the wine, but I would have returned it had the “return window” not passed. Disappointed.

    Great concept, bad quality

I gave it to stars because it really worked before it broke. Like so many other reviews it broke in the middle between the black plastic and the clear. It broke on probably the fourth or fifth pour. If I hold it together it still works but then leaks when you tip the bottle up. It was disappointing as the fundamentals seem really good but the quality very bad. I would like to recommend it but I can’t until the quality issue is fixed.I want to add to this review I moved it from two stars to four. The supplier sent me a new replacement, I also bought two additional ones because I like the concept and I wanted it to work. I have poured about two dozen bottles of wine out of the replacement, it has not leaked, it has not broken. I will always try to provide a fair review. And after the issues I had with the first one the replacement has Done really well and they still have the other two that I bought.

    Great Wine Aerator

This patented wine aerator is of superior quality and results were phenomenal. Plugged in the aerator on my wine bottle, held the wine glass and the wine bottle at an angle and poured wine. I was amazed to see air bubbles rushing in the wine. To perform a simple test, I filled 2 glasses with wine (one without and one with the aerator). The flavor and the taste were remarkably better with the aerated wine!It comes in a nice box to preserve and protect the aerator.

Great product with even better customer service

I wanted to give it some time before writing a review so I could have some time to use the Vintorio. I’ve had the aerator for about six months now and have noticed it makes a distinct difference in the taste of our red wines. I’m not big into opening a bottle and letting it breath for an hour and this solves the problem. I picked up the Vintorio here on Amazon after I lost my Vinturi wine aerator. I liked the Vinturi, but the thing that drive me nuts about it was I kept misplacing it or the base it sits in. It’s also a two handed operation to use the Vinturi which annoyed me since if I poured too quickly it would overflow. So, in came my next purchase, the Vintorio. I really do like it better. The thing that just made me give it five stars was their customer service. Something happened and I noticed the Vintorio began leaking. I’m not sure how, but a piece of it broke. I contacted their customer service and they sent me a new one right out. This is normally the reason why I spend more money on products is for great customer service. In this case it was affordable, a great product, and excellent customer service.I really do recommend one of these aerators.

The Vintorio Aerator Pourer works well

We have two different glass decanters and a device you place over your cup to pour wine through a filter that comes out several spouts. The Vintorio Aerator Pourer works as well as any of these, is easy to use and is easy to clean. The glass decanters are easy enough to use but not easy to clean and you don’t have the original bottle to pour out of (unless you pour the wine back in). The pour-through device is hard to clean. On the first several bottles we tried with the Vintorio, we poured one glass fresh out of the bottle and one through the Vintorio, to compare. The Vintorio glass clearly had a better nose, smoother and with more flavors present whereas the bottle glass had fewer aromas present and was more “chemical-y”. The taste of the wine was notably better in the Vintorio glas. It was like the wine had awakened compared to the bottle glass. The results were as good as or better than the other decanting tools we have. And the Vintorio is very easy to clean. The only -minor- issue was that it’s possible to assemble it upside down after cleaning and the wine can spill out onto the table like one of those cheap prank glasses. Small spill and quick reassembly.

    Awesome gift

I got this for a valentines gift for my wife. She is one of those women that if she want something then she asks for it. Surprise gifts have not gone well… until this one! After I poured her the first glass she was in love with this thing! Easy to use and easy to clean. Worth every penny!

    Great Product and Stellar Service

Since we’re all living mostly in seclusion these days, I have on many occasions felt like having a nice glass of wine – but not necessarily wanting a whole bottle to myself. Rather than decanting an entire bottle, only leaving it to sit for a day or more, I began looking into different options for proper aeration. You know, other than waiting. :)After checking various products and their reviews, I opted to give the Vintorio pourer a try. From the beginning, I’ve been impressed with the customer service offered by Vintorio. Prior to the item being shipped, they contacted me with some important information about the product, and have subsequently checked in to ensure I was pleased with the item and that it was working to my expectation. There are some simple, easy-to-follow directions about assembling, disassembling, and cleaning the product. It’s a simple and quick process, but being given a heads up was much appreciated. The product works like a dream, too. Whether you’re opening a $15 bottle or a $150 bottle, a quick pour through the Vintorio aerator results in a delicious and perfectly aerated glass, ready to drink. The aerator is not meant to be used in place of a cork – so once you’ve had your fill, replace the proper cork and clean the aerator. In addition to all this, the product comes with a lifetime guarantee.

It works pretty well, fiddly to reassemble after cleaning. There’s a better, cheaper option.

The Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer works pretty well. I can taste a difference in the wine comparing a glass poured straight from a freshly opened bottle vs poured through this device (Yellow Tail, Merlot). The pourer entrains small air bubbles as the wine passes through the device. That said, there is a cheaper option. I’ve used a small stainless steel wire whisk for years to aerate glasses of wine. If one uses a whisk with a small diameter cylindrical handle, one can spin the whisk in a similar manner to the way people spin sticks when starting a fire. The whisk foams the wine in the glass, maximally aerating it. Tasting, comparing the 3, the whisked wine is better than the wine that went through the Aerator Pourer. The Pourer is fiddly to clean. Well, not to actually clean, it’s the reassembly that’s a bit of a pain. There’s a clear rubbery gasket that must be placed correctly or the thing leaks, that’s according to the included sticker. That gasket is thin and has to be stretched into the proper position but it tends to shift out of position as one tries to get it all the way around. So the Vintorio aerator looks nice, pulls apart easily to clean but that gasket, o-type ring, is fiddly to get properly placed. The whisk only takes a quick rinse and it’s clean.Aeration of wine is worthwhile, it makes the wine noticeably smoother, less sharp. The whisk, for me, is the way to go. The Aerator works but not as well as the whisk, and a whisk is far cheaper. I guess I might pull out the Vintorio if comparing aeration techniques for friends and family. I’m old so my time to impress people with my wine gadgetry is long past. So for me, it’s the whisk, which is better, cheaper, and no worries with that fiddly gasket. It works so I won’t return it but I think it’ll just stay unused in the drawer.

    Elegant and functional

I love the way this looks on the wine bottles. A very elegant pourer. Does the aeration make that much a difference on the wine? I’m really not sure, since I’m not a wine expert but as a pourer it does great job. You can hear the air bubbling through as it pours out. It also makes a really nice gift for any wine lovers.

It’s portable, it’s instant, and it WORKS!

We travel in an RV, and that means we need a decanting solution that is portable, instant, and improves wine at least as much as a traditional glass decanter.I asked other RVers what they use, and a few suggested an expensive, electronic aerator that would cut too far into my wine budget. I almost bought it anyway then decided to give the Vintorio a chance and return it if it didn’t work.I first tried it on a new bottle of wine that has to breathe for hours in the glass decanter. I had little hope for this little gadget. I followed the instructions carefully and was *blown away* that the wine instantly tasted like it had aerated for hours! I’m so glad I didn’t spend 10 times more for the other one.The plan was to use the Vintorio in the RV and to keep using the glass decanter at home, but “ain’t nobody got time for that.” I’m getting a second Vintorio for home and moving the empty glass decanter off of my countertop. Maybe it will make a good vase. 🤔NOTE ON LEAKSI read all the reviews of problems with drips and sealing, so I was careful to follow the instructions that come inside the case. They are very specific about how to put the three pieces together. I wouldn’t say it’s tricky, but there is only one way to do it correctly. I have had zero leaks or seal failures, but I can see how it could if it is not assembled according to directions.I’m really happy with this purchase, and I will be recommending it to the RVers that haven’t already spent a mint on the other kind!

    LOVE!

Love this tool. It really opens the wine. I just bought my 2nd due to breaking my first, no fault of the product. This is a good alternative to using a decanter.

    Look like a Sommelier!

Easy to assemble and clean. The bubbles are fun! I am sure the flavor of the wine is enhanced, but I didn’t really notice a difference in my $10-$20 bottles.

Beware, you might be able to get it to work, but…

After seeing so many reviews about leaking, but the others saying that as long as you seat the gasket properly it will be fine, I went ahead and bought this. Worked great until I opened it up to clean it a bit better, and then, when I put it back together it LEAKED! I checked the seal against the diagram, looked to see if there were any gaps or it wasn’t seated properly and saw/found nothing. Still leaked. So I asked my husband (one of those people who can fix anything) to see what he could do, and he agreed that the clear little ring looked just like the picture said it should. He would later say that he did “run my finger around the seal just to see if I could feel anything” but other than that, all he did was reassemble it and twist it back into place. Voila! NO LEAKS! I’m very happy that it’s working again without me having to put another glass underneath it to catch the drips, but I’m left feeling like the leaks are NOT the customers’ fault for being careless. Maybe he tightened it more than I could? Or maybe there is something imperceptible about the seal that some folks get lucky with and others don’t? Just giving a heads up that whether or not yours leaks may be more luck than intention. If it weren’t for my husband I believe mine would still be leaking – and he’s not able to say just what he did differently from me…

Makes you look like a wine pro

Definitely liked the looks and the way it pours the wine. Probably would be better suited for more expensive wines. It didn’t make Barefoot Cabernet taste any differently to me. 🙂 Pros: it doesn’t leak, pretty easy to clean, comes with a storage container, makes you look sophisticated, good deal on sale. Cons: makes the bottle pretty tall.

    Nice product!

This thing works great! Definitely does a good job of aerating. I just wish it came with a stand instead of a case. I don’t like leaving aerators in my wine bottle. It is better to take them out after each use, and set them upright in a stand…. but it does work good.

Please purchase this. I’m telling you it’s worth it. From a wine lover

Let me tell you something. I drink wine almost every weekend. I love it. I am a conisseur of wine. I’m telling you straight up that this aerator made my experience unlike anything I ever had. To a point where I can admit I was drinking wine wrong. Get this aerator. Everything this product says it does, it really does. My wine tasted very different after using it. It makes these bubbles when you pour and the smell of the wine is heightened. Mind you, I used it on white wine. Can’t wait to use it on a red (which it’s actually made for). In short, please get this aerator. It’s priced really good and it works perfectly. Now I can’t drink wine without it.

    Why not?

I had one of the high end battery operated ones and it stopped working (wore it out? haha) so instead of spending the big moola (save it for the wine) I got this. It seems to do exactly the same thing as the more expensive battery version. Easier to clean and easier to use.It would be cool to do a side by side taste test but given that I’m a firm believer in spending less money improves the taste of wine – it should follow suite.

Too fragile and no vendor support.

It worked the the first time we used it and does aerate the wine well. That’s the good part. Now for the unfortunately bad part. The aerator is a 2 piece part. When you screw together there is a very small plastic tab that locks it. It broke on the second use and now leaks. I contacted the vendor and got no response or support. I won’t buy any more products from them. So far I’ve been fortunate buying lots of things on Amazon. This being the first real problem. Be very careful with yours…

    Works well BUT

It sprung a leak after trying to disassemble it. I tried contacting the manufacturer as suggested but after a couple of days decided to just return it before I forgot about it. As it turns out the same day I returned it they contacted me. I emailed them back and said too late, sorry. I did buy another of their products, it’s not a pour spout like the other one and works much better, easy to clean and easy to use.

    4.5 year review

Hey everyone, posting this after 4 and a half years using it. Overall very satisfied; it’s a simple product: 2 pieces of plastic with holes in them, wine comes out and introduces air as it flows through, comes out aerated through the other end. Just make sure you let water run through thoroughly to leave it all clean and nice. After 4 and a half years, I pulled the 2 pieces apart to clean them more thoroughly, and now when putting them together again, it leaks when pouring it out. Not the end of the world; I’d say for a cheap aerator, almost 5 years of constant is a pretty good lifespan. Buying one again.Edit: turns out I hadn’t put the 2 pieces together correctly after separating them. Make sure you twist them back. Keeps working great after all this time.

    Best product and customer service!

My husband and I have started drinking a lot of wine this past year. A friend recommended we buy a wine aerator. I decided on this one after much research online and reading many reviews. I made this purchase about 9 months ago. I have to say we have been very pleased with this aerator and can definitely taste a difference in the flavor of our wine. We started taking our aerator everywhere with us. Unfortunately though, when cleaning our aerator recently a small plastic piece broke off of the top causing it to not stay together properly and leak. I was extremely upset but after reading the paperwork that came with our aerator I saw that the company has a hassle free lifetime guarantee on their product. I immediately emailed the company and to my surprise they said yes they do have a hassle free lifetime guarantee on the product and asked my address where they could send me a new one. I received it within a couple of days! This is an excellent aerator and a great company with amazing customer service! I highly recommend this product to anyone!

Really works and is a clean pour!

I have several of the original Vinturi with the stands for both red and white. I stopped using them because they took up so much counter space and they were cumbersome to clean. This one attaches to the bottle, performs a clean pour and is easy to clean. The wine does taste much better after being aerated. I would recommend to someone who wants to get the best taste from their pour.

    AWESOME PRODUCT!!

After hearing about a similar product on TV, I decided to look on Amazon and try one out for myself. There were several wine aerators, but what drew me to this product were two things: (1) the amazing customer reviews it had received and (2) the fantastic customer service of Vintorio. After purchasing the product and completing a “wine testing” (one glass poured straight from the bottle and one glass poured through the Vintorio aerator), my wife and I could immediately taste the difference! The reactions were “wow”, “this is amazing”, “the wine tastes so much better”, etc. Every glass of wine I have now, I pour through the aerator. Box 1 checked: amazing customer reviews verified.Unfortunately, I had a small issue with my device, and I ended up contacting customer service two months after I purchased the product. (Sidenote: the product comes with a lifetime guarantee, so make sure to submit the information through Vintorio’s website.) I contacted customer service on a Saturday and by Sunday morning, I had a response! An extremely friendly lady named Vivian told me Vintorio would replace the product free of charge and not to worry about sending back the old product. How does it get any better than that? Well, it does, because she expedited my replacement product! Box 2 exceeded in spades: phenomenal customer service.Buy the product and your wine drinking experience will forever be changed!

Brightens the flavor. Still need to swirl some. If you could run it through 2 or 3 times between 2 bottles, it would be better.

This is my second purchase and only because I moved and my other is stuck in storage for a bit. Works great at aerating and, like a pourer, helps keep your wine from dripping down the side of the bottle.

Works great, I’m a repeat customer!

My father only drinks red wine and I wanted to get him an aerator that’s easy and fast to use (he will never use a decanter, lol.) He loves this aerator so much that I have to keep one at my house when he visits me.It’s easy to clean too. The only thing I would mention is that you need to make sure you have it configured correctly or it will leak. I always test pur first over the sink, you’ll know right away if it’s wrong.

    Aerated wine tastes better

if item is delivered and the gasket is missing, or you lose the gasket you can’t just order a new gasket. The first one I ordered, 11/21, was missing a gasket. Had to return item and wait for a new one. If you lose the gasket you glue it together or buy a new one. Maybe the policy has changed. Still a good unit

    High quality!

I know these are not the cheapest pourers, but they are worth the price. I do wine demos for a living, and these are a “must have” for me. They are the best at aerating (even for my small 1/2 oz samples), they pour neatly without drips, and Vintori even addressed the problem I had with transporting them. Each pourer came in its own sturdy case. 1st class, Vintori. I refer customers to your product at every demo. Impressive.

    Works well but is fragile

he Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer is a premium aerating pourer and decanter spout that promises to enhance the flavor and aroma of your wine. Overall, the product does work very well, delivering a smooth and rich taste to your wine. The aeration process is quick and efficient, making it easy to pour your wine without waiting for it to breathe. However, I did have an issue with the product. I found that it is quite fragile and I unfortunately broke my first one, requiring me to make a second purchase. The material used to make the product is not very sturdy, and it seems that it can easily break if not handled with care. Despite the fragility, I do appreciate the sleek and elegant design of the pourer, it fits in well with any wine setup.Overall, while the Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer does work very well and does enhance the taste of the wine, it is important to handle it with care as it is quite fragile. If you are looking for a product that will improve the taste of your wine, but also want to be mindful of its fragility, this may be the right product for you.

It works well but be careful when pouring wine.

It works well but be careful when pouring wine. There is a small slit on the back side of the lower half (the black part) and if you hold the bottle facing the wrong way wine will pour through it. I always make sure I have the front facing the same side as the wine label in order to avoid it. The reason it’s easy to put it on backwards is that the aerator comes apart and when you put it back together, the round bottom half fits on the top in any direction and the slit is hard to see. This is our second one of these. The first one started to come apart on it’s own after having it for maybe a year so they don’t last very long but I imagine they all designed that way for cleaning.

    Unforunatly mine leaked

The pourer appeared to work well enough for the intended purpose except that it leaked. There are detailed instructions of how to assemble it and install it on the bottle so that it doesn’t leak. I followed those instructions, taking it apart and reassembling it several times but unfortunately the product I had still leaked at the joint between the black bottom half and the clear upper spout. Once the bottom we had opened was finished, I tried taking everything apart one more time and cleaning everything again one last time and dried the pourer really well when finished with that process. I filled the empty bottle with water and completely dried the outside to ensure that if there was still a leak it would not just be from water on the outside of the bottle. I tested it over the sink again and you could clearly see the water leaking from the joint between the clear and black halves. It may have just been this individual pourer, but I was not willing to try another one, so I choose to return it and get my money back.

This is my first time trying a wine aerator. The first thing you do, is take a sip of wine straight from the bottle, then pour wine using the aerator. You will taste the difference. It does not leak and it is easy to clean. I’m not really a somellier, but I can taste the difference and it’s a good, inexpensive thing to have in the house.

    Great Compact Aerator

I like this compact Aerator as it comes with a storage case and is easy to take apart to wash. It does adjust the aromas and flavors by letting the wine breathe, but it might not be as good as some decanters out there. But it’s small and perfect for any storage area, so if you have an apartment or limited storage, this is better than a decanter in that way.

    Perfect Aerator

The media could not be loaded.

I ordered this aerator on a whim and am so glad that I did. It arrives in a cute little black box that is perfect for use when storing and traveling. It takes a millisecond to assemble the aerator, always using light pressure to attach the parts together. Now, here’s the trick: to avoid leakage when pouring your wine through this product, make sure that the 3 little air holes on the black base of the aerator are facing AWAY from the aerator spout. You can see what I mean in my second photo. If the 3 air holes are facing towards the end of the spout, your wine will leak through them when you’re trying to pour. You can disassemble the aerator into 3 pieces to wash it, so when you lock the black base back onto the spout, ensure that the 3 air holes are facing away from the end of the spout. My wine tastes so much better with this product and it’s so easy to use. No leakage whatsoever. I highly recommend.

    Successfully Aerates the Wine

phew, the sales pitch on this page. ALL CAPS WE WANT YOU PLEEZ TO BUY MORE!! Down, boy. Also, is the picture showing a lady pouring a red wine into what looks like an oversized champagne flute?? you’d think they’d pick a red wine glass, but I suppose whatever they had handy at the photo shoot.Ok, here’s the deal. It comes in a little box with gray foam stuffing, two pieces. The main thingy is the plastic spout, which has a little rubber stopper-thingy that you put in the wine bottle. It probably stays attached to the bottle just fine, but I have trust issues, so I hold it ‘and’ the bottle (two hands) rather than pour it freehand like the brave lady in the pic. The other thingy is a little straw. It attaches to the bottom of the spout to let air in. Attach the straw, jam it in the bottle, and pour your aerated wine into your inappropriately-large glass. The idea here is that you can use this thing in place of letting the wine sit out for an hour or violently swishing it around in your glass (or buying one of those goofy-shaped glass ‘decanters’ that wouldn’t fit in your cabinet and would probably break anyway). It definitely ‘works’ as advertised, in that it aerates the wine. The wine swirls around and trickles out, and it’s all bubbly. As to whether it improves the flavor of the wine, well that depends. We tested with a Cabernet from Argentina. We set up two glasses each, one aerated and one not. My chardonnay-drinking girlfriend swears it didn’t make a bit of difference, but I’m a cab-lover, and I could definitely taste it. It mellowed out the hot notes on the wine and let the fruit flavors come through better. I’ve heard it varies based on wine, though. So, your mileage may vary depending on your wine selection and your taste buds. But it definitely works in aerating the wine. Any more air in that wine and it’d be foam. Give it a try and see what you think. I’m looking forward to using it again.

Surprised that this little thing makes a huge difference

I was skeptical at first but was surprised by the difference of every wine that I tasted so far. It is a good buy and I am thinking to buy more for gifts.

Company stands behind its excellent product

I bought this aerator on 2017 August 6 and, while washing the disassembled unit several months ago, the plastic gasket attached to the clear spout was lost. When pouring through the aerator, a small amount of wine leaked out of the unit without the gasket. I asked Vintorio if it would give or sell me a replacement gasket. The company offered to replace the entire unit under the company’s lifetime warranty. After receiving the replacement, I noticed it was significantly improved and I expressed my appreciation to the company’s customer service representative for its continuing to improve its already outstanding product, its standing behind the product with a lifetime warranty, and its friendly and responsive customer service. At the representative’s request, I share my communication to her of 2019 September 9 for the benefit of potential buyers:”I received the replacement Vintorio wine aerator and am delighted with it. I notice that since I bought the original on 2017 August 6, your company has made several improvements:”(1) in the casing (a hard plastic case with the parts supported by a hard plastic shelf instead of the former foam insert. The “straw” part of the aerator would often get buried in the insert;”(2) in the manner in which the clear spout and the black bottom seem firmly to connect; and”(3) in the instruction manual of how to assemble, disassemble, and clean the aerator.”Congratulations on improving what was already a good product.”I am very impressed with the way the company stands behind its product, including its friendly and prompt customer service. To me a product’s quality is not just in its design, materials, and manufacturing quality control, but also in the after-sale support of the product.”Best wishes to the company for continuing success and thank you for being the friendly and helpful face of the company’s customer service.”

Solid until the invisible rubber ring goes missing

Enjoyed using this aerator a few times – seemed to aerate the wine decently, especially for the price, and I liked how it poured. Always make sure it’s lined up correctly and the holes are in the back to avoid spills. But not mentioned on this product page is that there is a clear, tiny rubber ring that enables sealing when screwing the parts together – and after a few washes, it dislodges and is very likely to go missing. Once lost, product cannot be used. I emailed the company several days ago and have yet to hear back…

Item does good job aerating, but does tend to leak a little

Fits well into wine bottles and does a good job at its intended purpose, but no matter how I fit it together or ensure that the pieces are together, it will drip out one or two drops of wine with every pour. I definitely pour over my counter top so I can clean up drops.
