Easy to use
I am very impressed with this wine opener because I struggle to open bottles of wine and this has made it so much easier. This product is very durable and it opens the corks very easily. It also is rechargeable which is super nice, and it comes with his own little stand.

This bottle opener is easy and simple to use
This is the second Secura bottle opener I’ve owned. The first one lasted through at least 100 bottles then the reverse button quite working. Worth every penny to me.

Good cutter also
The only difference between this opener and the one I had previously is that this one has a pretty blue light. I think the cutter works better as well. I liked that my old one stored the cutter on the back of the stand, and the stand overall took up less counter space compared to this one. But it’s nice to be able to see the cork through the clear opening and see the blue light when charging. Satisfied with the purchase.

Unbeatable for opening wind bottles, but battery has problem
I just bought my second Secura Wine Opener, it’s that good. It starts with the foil cutter. It cuts the foil cleanly every time. That might seem a simple thing, but I have had so many foil cutters that only partly cut the foil, having to use a knife and tearing the foil. The wine opener itself has never failed to open a bottle of wine. I was gifted a Rabbit wine opener, and whenever that gave up opening a bottle, Secura was able to complete the job. So, it is really perfect.BUT, the reason I bought my second Secura is that the battery gave up on my first one after 3.5 years. Long enough? I feel it should last longer. I left the wine opener on the charger all the time, and that is probably not good for the battery. But where else to leave it? Secura should implement some type of smart charging (e.g., never charge above 70%) to take that into account.

Great for little ole me!
This cork remover has made my life far more pleasant. It quickly and easily removes the cork from wine bottles that would be difficult for me. As a senior lady, hand strength is not what I am noted for, so I do appreciate something that allows me to easily and quickly open wines both for my personal enjoyment and to serve company. I have gifted this to older friends in the past, and will, I’m sure, do so in the future. And this is my second one. The first lasted a good long time, but recently gave up the ghost, thus requiring a replacement.

Great as a gift!
Quick and easy cork removal. I bought this for my mother who has some hand trouble, and it made life a bit easier. Takes up a little more space on the counter with the whole base than I would like, but otherwise seems great.

Works pretty well
Personally I prefer a standard wine key for opening bottles but my wife prefers something that requires little or no talent. This fits the bill for that. It actually has a good amount of torque and you need to get a good grip on the bottle before you start opening. The foil cutter is probably a little better than most of the one of that style. All in all, a reasonable value for the money. I haven’t really tested it to see how many bottles it can open without recharging but it seems to recharge in a short amount of time.

Size
Haven’t tried it yet. It is larger than I thought. It is nice to look at, and appears a bit more complex than I figured. I live in a small studio with a very small kitchen and I’ll give it one try if it will not harm it in any way, so I can return it as “very good” shape if I do find that it is too much for size and mechanism, for me. Will re-review if I find that to be true. Recommend seller. No shipping issues. Thank you.

battery is dead
After only a year, it’s dead. We dont use it ALL the time…maybe once a week. Anyway, looking for another now. It was nice and worked well, when it worked.

The clear bottom let me see how the screw is lined up with the cork and when the cork is out of the bottle. I have not used it very much to know how long the battery life is.

Nice corkscrew
The Secura wine bottle opener works well. I bought the earlier version because it was cheaper and I read the only difference between the earlier version and the latest version is the color. People have asked if the screw goes all the way thru the cork and it does but I have not had any bits of cork in my wine. The only complaint I have is the whole bottom of the opener lights up to indicate that is is charging. I would prefer a small indicator light to show that it is charging. I am happy with my purchase.

Great Wine Opener
We bought this opener to replace an old manual corkscrew. We’ve used it a few times and so far, so good – easy to operate and opens bottles in seconds. As was mentioned in at least one other review, it would be helpful if the opener had some sort of signal indicating when the battery is fully recharged (typically, recharging devices will have an LED that flashes when charging, but then turns solid when done).

Quick and easy extraction of cork!

I am extremely happy with this wine opener. As stated above, it extracts the cork quickly and then extracts the cork from the wine opener. Love the fact that the blue light stays on all the time!

Works Great…With One CAVEAT
Due to having carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, plus arthritis, it was becoming painfully difficult to open wine bottles with the old conventional means, so I wanted something that would make it EASY. This apparatus does the job just great, and is quite easy to use. No more struggle. However…just be aware that in order for it to remove a cork, it goes completely through the cork, hence after you pour a glass of wine, if you use that cork to reseal the bottle, you cannot lay the bottle on its side (if that’s important to you) or the wine will pour right out, all over the place. Most know that keeping a wine bottle on its side maintains contact between the wine and the cork, so the part of the cork inside the bottle doesn’t swell up due to contact with air, making it really difficult to get it back out the next time. Fortunately I had saved some corks from past bottles, and was able to just reseal with one of them. Other than that, I’m very pleased with this device. Of course, if you’re going to polish off a whole bottle once you open it (like for a party, or guests) this won’t be an issue, and you will LOVE the convenience and ease this provides!

Excellent product
For those who like a more automated approach to opening wine, this item is superb. The corkscrew is ample enough to handle difficult corks & the power is sufficient for easy extraction. But it cannot adjust its power to accommodate delicate corks so a traditional approach is still required in those cases, followed by filtration of the wine & decanting. But for most tasks, it is fine.

Fancy wine opener that gives your kitchen or wherever you place it a perfect aesthetic with the blue led light. It’s easy to use and doesn’t take up counter space. It’s kind of loud though but I still love it.
