Aerates without any leaks or drips
This aerator has a nice rubber gasket so it sealed well to my wine bottle. My husband enjoys making a “blaaahhhh” noise every time wine pours out so he’s sold on the novelty of having a skull aerator. It aerated my red wine about as well as most of this type of aerator does – not as good as a carafe, but this is a lot smaller and more portable. The finish on it is pretty good and it has nice heft and weight to it.

Well Made, Strong Seal, Interesting Design
My daughter is a goth child grown up. She is older, but she still appreciates those “different” gifts, such as this Skull Wine Aerator/Pourer. She’s also a wine collector, so this covers many bases.It’s made vey well. The outer shell is nice, and there are no worries about the paint/covering peeling off, which I thought about when I first saw it. It’s very well done. Also the gasket/seal is very strong. I expect there to be a solid seal for a long time to come.

An attractive and humorous novelty pourer spout
This is an attractive novelty wine bottle stopper /pourer in the shape of a skull with a gapingmouth through which the wine flows when poured. It is constructed of a sturdy silver coloredmetal with a bright finish. The stopper also contains a soft stopper/flange which permits easyattachment to an ordinary wine bottle (I tried it on 750 ml and 1 liter bottles and it fit well) andprevents leakage when the wine is poured. It is compact and should be stored easily. It is statedto aid in the aeration of the wine being decanted, but given the very slow flow of the winethrough the pourer, I believe this aeration would be minimal, at best. However, it does functionto prevent dripping and leaking when pouring the wine.Indeed, my only complaint is the very slow decanting of the wine; it amounts to little more thana trickle at times to a slow flow. The flow is inconsistent, an inconvenience, as the wine does exit the bottle, but it can be annoying when the flow is slow and Im pouring several glasses for guests. I also do not believe that any aeration of the wine will happen with such a slow trickle, and found that I either needed to pour the bottle into a decanter or let the wine sit in the glasses for a while to permit the wine to breathe. However, this is not a serious defect, and the pourer presents an attractive novelty to use at parties,

a neat novelty pour spout
The skull pour spout saw some use at a recent gathering of friends. Definitely gets some attention and serves as a discussion item. It has a good weight to it and doesn’t feel like a flimsy item. The skull is cast a little rough giving it a more weathered appearance.My only complaint is that mine leaks – not while pouring and instead once you have the bottle upright it dribbles some of the back wash. Oddly this was a “feature” with our dark red wine looking like a blood dripping down the bottle and wine label.

Decent looking stag wine pourer
This stag wine pourer looks pretty nice. The finish is more of a black chrome look than bright chrome color. The antlers look pretty good, but to me the cluster of rounded stubby ones at the end of each set of tines look a bit off. The pourer was fairly easy to clean and the stopper can be pulled off if needed. This pourer does not come with a spare rubber stopper. The only other bit that a little strange looking on this is that it’s clearly a figure shoved over top of a standard wine/liquor pour spout. If you look straight on at the stag’s mouth you can clearly see a pour spout inside. To me this was a little tacky looking, but in general it’s not very obvious unless looking straight in from the front. This was the reason I docked the pourer a star, because it’s not as seamless looking as others I’ve used in the past.

Great novelty for skull lovers
I am into skulls. People who know me would probably say skulls are my thing. This wine pourer is great looking and of course a skull! It is of very sturdy construction and super easy to clean.Pouring the wine out is a bit slower than I expected, it does not pour out like in the video. It more trickles and splashes around a bit. I will test this with different bottles / beverages as it may just be the cheap wine/bottle I used this with.This does not function as a stopper, so you would use this to serve the wine and then replace it with your regular stopper for storage.

Gift for a friend
I ordered this for Secret Santa at work. My coworker loved it. He is using it as a booze spout, rather than for wine. I wanted the deer antlers, as he is a hunter and outdoorsman, but got the skull instead. He still likes it. If this is appealing to you, then order it. It can serve for wine, liquor or mixers!

This aerator is a really cool way to pour wine
I’m not a big wine drinker, but this will be a conversation starter for sure! It looks well made out of cast metal, and considering that I dropped it on my concrete slab floor when I took it out of the box (it was wrapped very tightly in bubble wrap), it did not break. It is a good gift idea if you have a hard to shop for someone on your list. And it is fairly priced at $16, in my opinion.

Cool Skull Aerator Pouring Spout
This is a very cool pouring spout. It is heavy in the hand, and well cast. It pours wine very nicely. The silicone stopper prevents drips when pouring. Not sure how much it aerates, as the wine comes out a bit quickly, but it is a stylish accessory. Great for use on Halloween or would make a great gift for your Goth friend.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool design and has a bit of heft to it. But, for the retail price (15.88) I don’t think it’s worth it. Especially since you can only use it to pour wine. Maybe if it doubled as a stopper as well, it would be worth it.

Cool looking but doenst fit right in most bottles
This is strangely sized, its either too big to fit into the neck of a bottle well, so it will easily fall out if not fully inserted, or it is way too small and will easily just slide out if you try to pour. I have tried numerous wine and liquor bottles with none of them fitting properly.If I hold it in place while pouring, it has the desired effect of the liquid pouring out through the mouth of the skull, but it is hardly convenient to have to hold it in place while pouring.

Cool and fun design, conversation starter with friends and certainly does as it should with wine. Unfortunately it falls apart after just using twice… the seal is not secured properly and started leaking then completely fell off and was lost.
