Bought this watch after seeing it at a local jeweler. Wanted the stainless with white dial and gold highights, but the black dial with rose gold was on special at the time so that’s what I got.The watch is solid, all chromed stainless and weighs a good bit. I’m not a watch guy normally, and when I do wear one it’s usually a Timex Weekender (so this is significantly heavier.) Band is firm, thick leather (about 3mm thick,) and stiff. I’m expecting it’ll break in easily though. Crystal is bright and clear, and holds fingerprints like a son of a gun.Stopwatch is a nifty function but I’m not expecting it to be of much use, but it adds to the attractiveness of the dial, and the 24 hour cycle dial on the right is the same, cool and pretty but not of any use to me.One concern, it’s not a great timepiece. For a quartz movement, I’d expect better than losing 1 minute over 18 hours, so I’d check it every couple of days and reset it as needed.Overall, great attractive watch for a good price.
Bought as a gift for my husband. Watch was running when he opened it. So I think it had been returned. All tags and clear coverings we’re still on the watch. My husband likes this watch and after it was set for our time zone, it keeps good time. I have one exactly like it in rose gold that I have had several years and it keeps perfect time.When this watch arrived it too was out of the tin. After looking at the tin, I think it is a design flaw. Most all tins I have had the top fits over the bottom of the of the tin. The Fossil watch tin, the top fits inside the bottom of the tin allowing the weight of the watch to knock the top off. Mystery solved? We both love these watches and would recommend for anyone wanting a good practical watch.
I first saw this in the Fossil store and fell in love, but of course I had to check Amazon and it was $27 cheaper. Beautiful build quality, very stylish, and pleasant to wear. It’s the perfect size for my wrist, and the navy blue face with rose gold makes for a unique combination. The leather band is a nice soft calfskin leather. Functions smoothly and is very easy to set up. I highly recommend it!The rose-gold coloring is a lot more apparent in real life. It looks much better than could be captured in the pictures.
My ONLY issue with this watch is that occasionally I somehow seem to pull the knob out and stop it. I haven’t figured out how I’m doing it yet.There are three small dials on the face and the instructions do not explain these very well.Bottom Center is the stop watch SECONDS.Left side is the stop watch Minutes.Right side is a 24 hour watch so if you’re needing military time you can glance at that.Upper button starts and stops the stop watch.Lower button resets the stop watch.I don’t use these functions often but they were not explained well in the directions and I thought I’d pass along what I’ve learned.
I got this watch for my husband and he absolutely loves it. The band is a beautiful rich brown, and the rose gold accents in the face pair so beautifully.
Great watch for both casual everyday use and business events. Beautiful design and fits my husband’s wrist well. The blue gives a little bit of personality and extra style to this already wonderful design. There was no problem with the packaging and I love the cute gift box/tin it came on for Christmas. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone.
If you have a very small wrist, you might find the dial a little large. This is a larger than average sized watch and I LOVE it. Beautiful design and really looks far more expensive than it is. The msrp sticker was $125! Very comfortable leather band too. I would highly recommend this watch. Fossil really outdid themselves with this one!
I’ve had this watch for going on 3 years now. Came back to the product page to find what batteries it takes since it finally died (SR621SW batteries if you’re wondering).It’s a beautiful watch and after three years (and a few rough drops) I’ve only ever had to reset the time on daylight savings. The band is still in great condition with no signs of giving up, even after wearing it almost everyday.If you want a good priced, good looking watch that only requires a simple battery change every three years or so, Fossil is the way to go!
A number of reviews have suggested that this is not an original fossil due to the screwed up Roman numeral 4. You can find this exact watch on Fossils website, wrong number 4 and all. I believe that is why the low price. Nice heft to the watch. Very clean classic lines, and an excellent overall look. It’s a larger framed watch, but not to the point of being overbearing. The only slight negative is how small the chronograph is. This wouldn’t have been a problem five years ago, but now I am not going to be able to use it without some magnification. It would have been nice if the crystal included it. Very happy with this watch.
Just got it! It’s leather feels quite nice and flexible but still has that new leather ridgy feeling. It’s not damage like others have said and the box was intact unlike others but seriously if it falls out it’s not a big deal. Looks great! Was already right on time and date and everything
