  1. Picked this up as gift for a friends promotion to Detective. Its looks fantastic on his desk. Only gripe is the globe is a bit smaller than I anticipated, thats my fault for not reading the description!

  2. Absolutely stunning. I loved it so much I’m actually getting ones for everyone in my family! Great price, great gift! I didn’t even know it came with glasses, but they’re beautiful. The wood is sturdy and gives off a natural/manly vibe. Be sure to invest in a decanter cleaning kit too, because you can never be too careful with this treasure 🙂

  4. I loved that it was packaged safely… I was concerned about the ship inside the decanter. It was perfectly packed and in perfect condition when I received it. It exceeded my expectations in craftsmanship but it’s also bigger than I expected. I don’t have small hands at all, big country girl and you can see the size of the main price in my hand. I would definitely gift this to myself in the future but this one is for my big bro… I’m overly picky on his bday gift and this has very much pleased and satisfied me especially since it was only $50.

  5. My husband fancies himself a classy guy, so when I saw this pop up under the deal of the day, I just knew I had to get it for him. He uses the glasses everyday for his daily whiskey intake, but has yet to use the Decanter. Heads up ladies, if you get this for that special man in your life, ensure you have a food grade funnel to assist with the pouring. Left on their own, they may try to use the funnel they have for their various car fluids. I have banned him from using his car funnel, but I have yet to get him a food funnel to use, maybe one day when I go grocery shopping, I will remember to grab one.

  6. There are a bunch of mixed reviews here, but I went ahead and ordered. It was part of a Father’s Day gift, it was a hit. Here are my thoughts though:1. The stand is great! HQ2. Glasses are nice and thick. … Beautiful!3. The globe/ decanter seems very fragile and a bit thin.4. The stopper is a very yellow gold. Looks cheap to me. LQ material. Kinda kills the look. If you’re going to go gold, to it right or opt for a sliver type finish.Again though, it was a great gift and I filled it with balvenie 12 year single barrel. My husband loved the whole thing.

  7. This is a beautiful set. The stand is solid, stable and well designed. The glasses are standard sized rocks glasses and the decanter is larger than I expected. The glass work is very nice with crisp etching and the ship is more detailed and attractive than the pictures could show. I’m very happy with this. I’ll be using it as both a show piece and service set.

  8. I bought this for my husband last Christmas, and he’s had it on display, full of bourbon, every day since then. He loves it. He keeps it on his bar and offers guests drinks with it. The glass is beautiful and sturdy, the wood is a lovely, dark real wood, and the glasses are perfectly complimentary and dishwasher safe.It’s VERY giftable if you have a liquor drinker in your life that also likes to host or has a nice den.
